Description
Southern Cross Pottery Fluoride Plus Water Filter is imported from England and is an all-in-one filter that removes virtually all impurities except PFAS. It lasts between 6 to 9 months. For more information, please refer to the SCP Fluoride Plus.
This filter removes significantly more impurities than the Doulton Super Sterasyl, including fluoride and heavy metals. At only 5 inches tall, it fits all purifiers manufactured by Southern Cross Pottery.
Fluoride Plus filter elements are manufactured in England and imported by Southern Cross Pottery. They feature a class-leading, silver-impregnated ceramic microporous outer shell combined with advanced granular core technology. This design removes fluoride along with a wide range of other contaminants.
Made from high-quality NSF component-certified (ANSI 61) coconut shell-based activated carbon and proprietary adsorbent materials, the Fluoride Plus filter combines mechanical filtration and physical absorption to reduce many drinking water contaminants, both aesthetic and health-related. The ceramic’s pore structure provides sufficient contact time to improve taste and odour while reducing chlorine, chloramine, volatile organic compounds (VOCs), MTBE, lead, mercury, asbestos, arsenic, and fluoride. The cleanable ceramic shell also removes suspended solids, pathogenic bacteria, and cysts.
The Fluoride Plus filter has been independently tested in accordance with NSF protocols for cyst, turbidity, particulates, lead, chloramines, and chlorine reduction.
